    1. Guben is a small industrial city in southern Brandenburg, Stettin was the central post office for collecting foreign parcels, before they were transferred to other countries - see postmark "Auslandsstelle".
    2. The factory of C. G. Wilke at Guben produced hats and caps. They were specialised in woolly hats. Wilke invented the waterproof bowler hat, made from sleaze.
    3. The postage was 315 Pfennig, which means 3 Reichsmark and 15 Reichspfennig (3.15 RM)
    4. The parcel was packed into waterproof linnen paper to prevent the content from humidity
    5. 3.15 is the postage and there are the private stamps of the sender
    6. The content might be hats in the value of 300 Reichsmark. The weight is 2,73 kg.
    7. On the rear side you will find the sending conditions of foreign parcels and the certificte of arrival.

    Regards,

    W.

"Teer-Leinenpapier" means, that the parces has been wrapped with tar paper so that water cannot go through by any ways. The hats probably were sensitive to water or mildew.

The stamp's text is: "Indicate if not delivered! - C. G. Wilke"
