Hauptplatz - literally "main square" or "main site" is a street name (part of the address)
Innung is a guild, hafner innung is a guild for stove-fitter.
the crossed out text is probably due to a change in the address, since the new one was put below."Wir beide, wir haben Humor: Sie in der Praxis, ich in der Theorie." -
Austria become part of the German Reich in 1938. Thus German postage stamps were used in the former Austrian areas. For Wikipedia see "Anschluss Österreich".Kommentar

Mainly the German postage fees were used in Austria. Still there were a few local specialities and also there was a Transition period there Austrian and German stamps were allowed to be used at the same time. Since the postage fee System was quiet difficult, I suggest to buy a "Michel Special Deutschland" or "Michel Postgebührenhandbuch". You get both quite resonable at ebay.Kommentar

"Hauptplatz" is the street address, which means "central square" oder "market square" in the city of Linz (Austria)
The letter or card was sent by an official of the "Hafnerinnung", which is the "guild of crockers" within the Austrian League of Trade and Crafts. The "Hafner" means "potter" i. e. craftsmen who produce pottery, ceramics or any kind of tiles pp.
